Variant Name: Lal Qal'a
Ningrahar Province. In the foothills circa 2 kilometers south of the village of
Chahar Bagh, 9 kilometers west of Jalalabad.
Date: Kushan, 1st century AD (numismatic evidence).
Description: Remains of a stupa and associated monastery enclosure. Inside the stupa was a dome-chamber containing a steatite vase, a gold reliquary and 28 Indo-Scythian coins. There was also a tunnel continuing on underneath the stupa.
