Fuladi: A complex of some 30 artificial caves. Many have tunnel-like passageways connecting them to watch-towers on the hills above. Some have decorations of "lantern" ceilings and frescos. There is also a line of later fortifications along the valley as far as Manãra, guarding the approach to the Bamiyan Valley from the south.
