“Parpuwa Lodro Sengge  b.1100? […] Identified by tradition as one of the four supremely accomplished disciples of Pakmodrupa, he is best remembered today for his Doha commentaries. He was very probably the first Tibetan to write such commentaries, earning him a special place in the general history of the Mahāmudrā lineages. His legacy would be of special importance to the Yelpa Kagyu. He was the founder of Parpu Monastery.”
