Tamasavana. Lit. Dark Forest Monastery. Possibly that of Jalandhara where the "fourth council under Kaniska held its sessions; at the junction of the Vipasa and Satadru," i. e. Beas and Sutlej. (Eitel 1888:??)
Tamasavana "A monastery situated at the junction of the Vipasa and Satadru [= near town of Harike, tmc] , 50 li south-east of Tchinapati. [=10 miles SE of Patti - tmc] It is probably identical with the so-called Djalandhara monastery in which the IV Council under Kaniska held its sessions." (Eitel 1888:69). Src: Muller (1995a-present)

Perhaps it is the Djalandhara monstery i.e the site of the 4 synod (158 BC)(Eitel 1888:169)
