All that remains of this site in central Kathamandu is a stupa with a tree growing up through it. The platform and the four cardianal doorways are in relatively good condition. The old name was Ratnakar Vihar. it was supposed to have been built in the 13th Century but there is no solid textual evidence. Mahayana tradition.
