After 4 years’ effort, in the year of 1997, Daxiong Temple, 1.6 meters higher than Linying Temple in Hangzhou, towered in Yunhuang Mountain. […] Behind the temple, Fudashi Dagoba [=stupa] on the top of Yunhuang Mountain soars into air. Legend says that when Fudashi got the doctrine in Shuanglin Temple, he built 3 rooms in the valley as his cultivating place and named it Yunhuang Temple. Part of his ashes was buried in this tower. Scenery beside the tower is magnificent, with pines, bamboos, and temples; far beyond are paths, ponds, villages—-all with amenity and sentiment."
